1990:
Vintage logoFirst National Bakery Company was renamed Irish Pride Bakeries and the new brand Irish Pride was launched.
1992:
Light loafIrish Pride Bakeries launched the first low calorie bread in Ireland, Irish Pride Light 800g.
1994:
McCambridge logoIrish Pride began to distribute McCambridge Wholewheat Soda bread.
1995:
St Pierre logoIrish Pride began to distribute St. Pierre French breads and all customers are served with a unique computerised ordering service.
1996:
A Proud Tradition in Bread MakingCreation of a brand identity; ‘A Proud Tradition in Bread Making’.
1997:
Big Toast loafMerger with H.M. Keating & Son Limited in Kanturk, Co. Cork. Launch of Big Toast.
1998:
Delivery LorryEnlargement of the Irish Pride distribution network.
1999:
Original Farmhouse logoIrish Pride Bakeries launch Original Farmhouse White.
2001:
Rustic Grain logoIrish Pride Bakeries launch Original Farmhouse Rustic Grain. Due to an increase in smaller households Irish Pride also launches Ireland’s first half pans.
2002:
Special K loafIrish Pride Bakeries and Kellogg’s join together to launch Kellogg’s Special K bread – a world first!
2003:
Irish Pride logoIrish Pride brand is re-launched with a new contemporary ‘smiling face’ logo. New packaging and a heavy weight advertising campaign support this re-launch.
2004:
Healthy Bread loafIreland’s first reduced carbohydrate bread – Irish Pride Carb Counting. Launch of Irish Pride Healthy Grain.
2005:
Opening of Soft Roll Plant, Taghmon photoOfficial opening of a new state of the art soft rolls plant at Taghmon, Co. Wexford follows an investment of €10 million. Became the first National bakery to remove Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil from our breads.
2006:
Irish Pride Baps and Snack Roll range photoLaunched Irish Pride Baps and Snack Roll range.
2007:
Wholegrain loafLaunched Irish Pride Wholegrain. Irish Pride achieves Kosher status.
2008:
No.20 in 2008Irish Pride jumped 10 places in the top 100 grocery brands list to reach No. 20.
2009:
No.13 in 2008Launch of a new advertising campaign ‘Inexplicable Pride’. Irish Pride jumps another 7 places on the top 100 grocery brands list to reach No. 13.
2010:
Hospice Sunflower Days logoIrish Pride became the official sponsor of Hospice Sunflower Days helping to raise in excess of €750,000 for Hospice care in Ireland.
2011:
Irish Pride Vita KidsIrish Pride launches an exciting new bread tailored especially to address the nutritional benefits of children in Ireland – Irish Pride Vita Kids. Irish Pride also launches Irelands first Oat Bread to be available in all supermarkets nationwide.
