Irish Pride and Calor Ireland Donate €10,000
This week, both Irish Pride and Calor Ireland had the pleasure of visiting the 'John Sullivan Resource Centre’s Bio Diversity Garden' to present them with a cheque worth €10,000. The John Sullivan Resource Centre is part of the national organisation, the Irish Wheelchair Association. They were the winning entrant to our 'Making Your Barbecue Days Greener' competition during the summer and we very impressed with the various projects they are working on to help the environment.
After considering what €10,000 would mean to an organisation that works hard to fundraise to improve the lives of people with physical and sensory impairments, the judges were unanimous in their decision to donate the prize fund that will go towards increased transport facilities to cater for more people needing a service in the community.
Irish Pride and Calor Ireland would like to thank the 'John Sullivan Resource Centre' for their warm welcome and hospitality last Monday, it was a wonderful experience and congratulations again from all of us. Enjoy the new bus when it arrives.
