Durrow N.S, Co. Offaly wins ‘Pride in Our school’ National Competition
The competition in “The Primary Planet”, Ireland’s first children’s newspaper attracted entries from schools nationwide.
The entries received were of a very high standard reflecting the pride Irish children have in their schools.
The winning entry was submitted by Kate Molloy who accepted a cheque from Cathy Mc Corry, Marketing Manager, Irish Pride for €1000 for her school to the delight of Ms. Helen Kinehan, her teacher, Principal Mr. Frank Kelly and fellow class mates.
