For the last two years Irish Pride has run a special competition called ‘Pride in your School’. The goal of our competition was to instil a sense of pride in the children of Ireland and to help them recognise the amazing accomplishments and achievements made by their schools on a daily basis.
Each year we were overwhelmed by the number of responses and the effort put in by all the school children and classes that entered. It is clear that the children of Ireland are very proud of their schools.
This year one entry stood out above all the others and that was the entry of the 4th class at Doon CBS in Co. Limerick. The class were able to demonstrate all the different things that made them proud from their activities in sport, environment and the local community.
