The Cheeky Pig Burger

Ingredients:

  • 1/4lb seasoned Pork & Apple burger
  • 1/4lb seasoned Pork & Apple burger
  • Small handful of Mixed salad leaves
  • 100g bread crumbs
  • 1/2 Red onion, chopped
  • 3 Cherry tomatoes, sliced.
  • 2 tbsp Hellmanns Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Heinz Chilli ketchup
  • Pinch of Chilli flakes
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Rock Salt
  • Slice of Pineapple
  • 2 Burger buns

Method:

Sauce

  1. Prepare the sauce by combining the 2 tbsp Hellmanns Mayonnaise & the 2 tbsp Heinz Chilli ketchup in a small dish.
  2. Add in a pinch of Chilli flakes. (Add more or less Chilli flakes as desired)

Buns

  1. Lightly toast the open burger buns on the grill. Remove to a plate and spread the prepared sauce evenly to both buns.

Salad

  1. In a bowl season the mixed salad leaves with a pinch of rock salt and black pepper.
  2. Place the seasoned leaves onto the sure of the lower burger bun.
  3. Add the chopped red onions on top of the mixed salad leaves and then the sliced cherry tomatoes on top of the onions.

Burger

  1. Cook the burger on the barbecue grill until cooked through and lightly charred.
  2. Add the slices of Cheddar while on the grill and close the lid of the barbecue until the cheese melts over the burger.
  3. Place the burger directly onto the lower bun with the salad leaves, onions and cherry tomatoes.
  4. Put the chargrilled pineapple directly on top of the burger with it’s melted cheese and then finish with the top burger bun.
  5. A sweet, juicy, spicy burger that’s perfect for summer.
